Classes | Your First Krav Maga Class
So you have booked your first Krav Maga class and you are wondering what happens now?
Arrival: Try to arrive 5–10 minutes early so we can properly welcome you at the door. When you arrive, you will be asked to record your name and email address. This will be used to send you links to relevant information.
Preparation: Please remove piercings and jewelry to prevent injuries. If you wear glasses, you can remove them during the physical practice and put them back on when we are teaching techniques. If you have long hair, you must tie it up, and please ensure your nails are trimmed.
Class: We will start with a short introduction to self-defense, our system, and safety. After this, our class will follow a structure. We will complete the warm-up, followed by self-defense techniques. You will be paired with a partner, and we will practice specific movements. Don’t be afraid to ask questions—we will be happy to answer them.
Summary Drill: The class will end with a summary drill focused on executing the techniques learned that day. This gets easier the more classes you attend and the more you understand. The idea is to do your best!
After Class: You may feel tired after your first class. Even if you are in shape, this is a unique form of training. Any combat sport or martial art is hard work, but your body will get used to it—it’s a fantastic way to get fit!
